Why we can’t trust the Mainstream Media

Michelle Bachmann CBS DebateLast night’s CBS News/National Journal debate was mainly focused on foreign policy.

But behind the scenes it was focused on shaping who the mainstream media, and in this case, CBS in particular, wanted you to hear from – or not hear from.

In a leaked memo, it appears that CBS was planning on shutting down Michelle Bachmann from the beginning. Bachman is on the House Intelligence Committee which is charged with the oversight of the United States Intelligence Community. Bachmann touts this position as her key insight into foreign policy.

However, Keith Nahigian, who is Bachmann’s campaign manager, posted on their Facebook page an email exchange between John Dickerson, CBS New’s political director, and correspondent Caroline Horn. Continue reading Why we can’t trust the Mainstream Media

The D.C road trip

And were lookin fer a few good men, or women!

I’m sure many of you have heard that Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann has called for “the people” to come to Washington. Here is what is happening.

 The Democratic leadership is planning to use a House procedure called the ’self-executing rule’ – now nicknamed “the Slaughter Rule”. It is a procedure that has been in existence in the House since the 1970’s and allows the House to ‘bury’ an unpopular bill inside a new bill.

Bury is the right term to use here. David Axelrod said on the Sunday Morning show “all week long people will be descending on Washington like locust to pressure there congressmen” As though you and I have no right to do so or that we are a plague.

Time for a convoy to Congress. We want to setup car polls to go to D.C. On Saturday. This will require an early morning start.

What you can do:

1) Donate you and your car to go.

2) Invite your friends and neighbors to go and meet some passionate people.

4) Grow a set and take a stand

This is a 6.5 hour drive according to MapQuest. This is from Dover, Ohio to D.C.
