I am tired…

I am tired.

Seriously. I think it is more mental than anything. But this tiredness isn’t a result of anything I have done. No. It is something much more irritating that that. It is something that I as an individual may not have much control over. However, I know I am not alone.

I talk to people on a daily basis and I hear the echoing of my tiredness all across this great country. It is time.

I am tired of our country heading in the wrong direction and the lawmakers who are trying to move it away from what made the United States the most envied country in the world. The freedoms our forefathers fought for when we broke away from the tyranny of a government and it’s encumbering shackles.

I am tired of everyone being “offended” over the most menial of “issues”. Well, I am offended that you are offended. The best advice I heard once was that you can not be offended unless you let someone offend you. When that happens then you are giving that other person the power over you to control you.

You have no control over me.

Stop being offended you bunch of sissy, whiny, immature, selfish babies.

I am tired of seeing our country degraded by those in office. Always apologizing to anyone just to curry favor for political purposes. Or because they don’t understand that it is OK sometimes to not have to feel that you have to apologize. That is, if you really know what you stand for and believe in it… Grow some Kahunas.

I am tired of people telling me what I can and can’t do. This is America. It was reported this past week that Oak Park Michigan resident Julie Bass was cited for having a garden in their front yard. Call the food police! It doesn’t look good! They are taking jobs away from the illegal immigrants who would have picked that food this person would have bought in a store! You had better think about these things before you do anything. We have to think of the poor illegals and what growing our own food might do to their economic well being. You are just being so selfish you self-sufficient criminal! Now the city, having dropped the “Garden Terrorist” charges are now trying to charge her for not having her dogs license – they are now licensed and Bass paid a late fee but it goes to show how desperate governments are for your money. The money you are struggling to keep to feed and house your families.

I’m tired of government vendettas against common citizens.

You know what? Just don’t do anything. According to the government you don’t know how to think for yourself. That’s why they need to control every aspect of your life. You are stupid AND tired. that’s what they keep telling us with all thee incredible laws that indicate you cant act or survive on your own.

I am tired of the government telling us what we can and can not eat. Please, give me a break. If I want a Big Mac, I want a Big Mac. If I want carrots I will eat carrots. This is the land of the free and the home of the brave. This type of governmental interference in our lives is why we threw off the chains from the King of England over 200 years ago.

And I am tired of paying for the homeless to have cell phones. Why the hell do they need cell phones? That’s $400 million a year spent on this just in Florida. $400 million.  Give me $400 million and I could create a lot of jobs that are sustainable and will be there in the future. When the free pre-paid cell phone’s minutes are used up, they are gone. And will need more of your money to be used for……..There are better solutions than just throwing money away because you have it to throw away. Remember – it is the people’s money – not yours Mr. Government. We are the ones you take it from.

I am tired of the lies constantly being poured upon us by politicians, the media and even our own desires to avoid knowing the truth since the truth is going to really hurt. We have a spending problem by our government. It spends way more than it can actually bring in.

That’s OK though, we can print more money.

I’m tired of hearing about how we HAVE to raise the debt ceiling by August 2nd or the world will come to an end.

I tired of Timothy Geithner saying there is no other alternative, that the debt ceiling must go up. (And why is it you want to leave your post sir at such a time?)

If I tried to run my house the way the government runs its own fiscal house, I would be thrown in jail. But, we expect that this is the way the government should operate.

I am tired of people thinking that this modus operandi is normal for our government. It must change.

I am tired of all the corruption that those in government don’t see as corruption, but just a means to achieve the end goal – whatever their intended end goal is.

I am tired of those playing the race card when they find it convenient and want to shame others into submitting to their wants and demands when things don’t go their way. I could care less if the president was a One-Eyed One-Horned Flying Purple People Eater. If he’s eligible to be the POTUS then fine… but quit trying to race bait. It seems those who are obsessed with race are the ones who actually are racist. I’m tired of it.

I am tired of the CEO of our great country stomping his feet, telling us he’s right, and that we have to listen to him as he storms out of serious negotiations. He is our leader after all. He must be right. The temper tantrums prove it.

I am tired of President Obama saying that 80% of the population wants taxes raised. Maybe 80% of non-United States citizens around the world want to see our taxes raised. But definitely not those here in the US of A (See Rasmussen’s poll on this.)

I am tired of the narcissistic, delusional, pampered and spoiled child that is running this country thinking that he is the end all and only the problems of this country can be solved through him.

President Obama. Grow up. Take responsibility for your failed financial policies that have done nothing for me or my country except make it weaker and poorer.

President Obama, you have no freaking clue what it is to try to support your family by running a business, meeting a payroll (who’s other families rely upon the business owners), and trying to achieve the American dream by working your butt off or losing everything you have trying to achieve said Dream. Real life is much different that “governmental life”. But you wouldn’t know much about that would you sir?

I am tired of you telling me to hire new employees in the worst economy we’ve seen in generations. I can’t hire employees if people aren’t buying my products. And people won’t be buying my products if they don’t have jobs. And they won’t have jobs if the uncertainty in the economy continues to prevail because no one will want to spend any money. And you spending money as the government isn’t “real stimulus”. The government cant stimulate anything but itself and I believe there is a word for that too.

Get your head out of your ass and do something for someone other than yourself.

I am tired of the smell of our dying economy and fearful of the future my young children will inherit because of our nation’s current, irresponsible policies.

I am tired.

But I am sure as hell not going to give up. And I know how to end my tiredness in 2012. Just remember what happened in 2010.

That goes for both Democrats AND Republicans.

May God bless the United States of America and give us time to turn things around.

I am tired, but that is my prayer.
