 Dear Fellow Patriots,

Next Saturday thousands of us will travel to Washington, DC to participate in Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor rally. I hope you are going to be there and pray for a safe and peaceful day.

 Mr. Beck has requested that we leave our signs at home for this rally. I intend to honor his wishes and will carry only two American Flags. I will, however, not leave my voice at home and I have an idea that I hope many of you will take up.

If you are riding a bus you will be dropped off at RFK stadium. From there you can either take the Metro or walk to the Mall and the Lincoln Memorial. If you walk you will pass the Capital Building on either the Senate (Constitution Ave.) side or the House (Independence Ave.) side. (See the map in the attachment). On the Senate side you will pass the Hart, Dirksen and Russell Senate office buildings on your right and the Supreme Court on your left. On the House side you will see the Cannon, Longsworth and Rayburn House office buildings on your left.

I suggest as you pass these buildings, and the Capital, you encourage your group and all those around you to read the beginning of the Declaration of Independence and sing America the Beautiful and God Bless America. If you choose to ride the Metro please do the same while on the train. I have attached the words to the Declaration and the songs below. Please print extra copies to give to your friends and to the thousands of strangers you will be walking with.

I think this is going to be the largest gathering of American Patriots ever. Let’s raise our voices and send a powerful message that those of us who participate in these events are peaceful, freedom loving Americans, not the racist, bigoted red necks the President, Pelosi, Reid and the media would have the world believe.

The Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America

When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.
