16th District Tea Party/9-12 Groups Host

The Republican Candidate Debates

(Canton) – The 16th district Tea Party/9-12 Groups consisting of MCFAN, Wooster 9-12, Stark 9-12 and New American Patriots are pleased to announce their hosting of the Republican Candidate Debates.  The first of two debates is being held on March 9, 2010 at the Glenn Oak High School Theater in Canton, OH. The event will be from 7:30pm to 9:00 pm with the doors opening at 7:00pm.

This event is free and open to the public, although donations to defray the cost of the event will be accepted.  All three Republican candidates have been invited to participate. We are asking the public to submit questions that will be posed to the candidates during the event.  Please submit your questions to 16thdebates@gmail.com. The debate format will follow that of more recent Presidential debates.

“We are hosting a Republican Candidate Debate during the primary season as it is the only Congressional race where there is more than one candidate,” stated Stephanie Bragg, Acting Director of New American Patriots.  “If these debates go well, we intend to host one with all of the candidates this fall prior to the general election.”

Any additional questions regarding this event please forward to Stephanie Bragg at ashlandohteaparty@yahoo.com
