Letters to the Editor

Still begging
Dear Editor:
I had received a letter signed by President Barack Obama sent from the Democratic Committee of Washington, D.C.
The letter states they need money to help with our economy. What upset me was, why are they begging for money when a stimulus check was sent out to create jobs in order to put the American people back to work. I don’t see where any of the stimulant money helped or created any kind of job.
I called Washington D.C. and I asked them why are they begging for money when a stimulus check was sent out to help the American people. They told me, Obama still needs help and our support. How can the American people help support congress when their jobs were taken away? I told them if I see someone who needs help I’ll try and help them myself.
I explained that I was very upset with them to be begging for money while they are still raising the prices on the American people.
I understand that the MRDD’s in California had their money taken away. How can the government do that. Now these people will have to get help somewhere and when they do who’s going to criticize them.
Is this the way it’s going to be, take money from the needy for their gain? Obama has lots of words. He may have a good plan, but words don’t fix the problem. To me, if a person’s word is no good, they’re no good at all. For he’s only good as his word. I’m sure everyone was hoping Obama could help. To me there’s one hope, we all need to go back to the old path, lend a free helping hand expecting nothing in return.
It just ticks me when I know of a lot of people who is out of work struggling just to live and then get this kind of letter from Washington, D.C.
