Germany Sees Multiculturalism Failing

The German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, stated over the weekend that multiculturalism in Germany has failed. The comments come amid rising anti-immigration feeling in Germany.

She told a group of young members of the CDU, of which she is a member, that “… of course, the approach [to build] a multicultural [society] and to live side-by-side and to enjoy each other… has failed, utterly failed.”

She stated that integration is a must and that immigrants need to learn to speak German.

Interesting that Germany seems to have seen the writing on the wall that unbridled immigration and failure to become a part of the country on the part of immigrants can lead disastrous results for the country.

Too bad America can’t see the writing on the wall… or border fence.
