Dirty Harry and the Politics of Hypocrisy

Harry Reid Flippin' the Bird It is amazing how one’s views can flip-flop in just a few short years. Here you can see in 2006 that Harry Reid is complaining about how it is wrong to pack in deals in a Manager’s Amendment to be able to pass legistlation. And it is amazing how he complains that these amendments are just put into the deal without anyone seeing it, or knowing what it really contains – but they still vote on it without knowing anything about it. Just to get it done.

Amazing how a few years, and when one is in control and in power, how that view seems to change…
