Ohio 18th District Concerned Citizens Gather

A wide array of Ohio’s 18th District constituents gathered together Tuesday December 29th at Dover’s Wayne Garage Door to talk about what can be done to have their voices heard in the current political landscape. Organization for holding one of four town hall Meet the Candidates forums hosted by the Ohio Liberty Council was discussed for the Tuscarawas,

Homes and surrounding county areas to help voters learn more about the primary candidates and their stances on issues. These Meet the Candidate forums are designed to help bring more voter awareness and education so a more informed vote can be cast upon election day. An additional meeting will be held to secure a meeting location in the Dover/New Philadelphia area and dates will be finalized and posted as soon as a meeting place is booked. We will post those dates and times here on the Ohio Free Press website when they become available.

Additionally, representatives from The Voices of America were on hand to discuss precinct activism and how we can, as concerned citizens, impact our local, state and federal elections.  For those that were not able to attend the meeting last night there is a PDF presentation that was discussed and will help you better understand precincts, how they work, and how you can help shift the political landscape one neighborhood at a time.
